In this article I am going to share with you one of the things that could be holding you back from being successful with your online business. Whatever niche you are in there is one common factor that holds people back.
There are many reasons why people do not make money online and why the majority of people fail when it comes to creating a successful online business. If you don't do the work and you never take action or implement the things you need to then there is an obvious reason why you are not succeeding.
I often talk about having a reason why that will drive you to take the action that you need to in order to see success.
However I believe it is deeper than this. At the end of the day it comes down to our beliefs and values.
You may have heard of the expression that you are what you eat, well it is also true that you are what you believe!
Have you ever stopped to think what you actually believe about Internet marketing and making money online? Do you believe it is possible? Do you believe it is only for people who are unethical? Or perhaps you believe it is only for those who are extrovert?
If you believe something then you will also believe that unless you act that way according to your belief, then you will not succeed.
For example, if you believe that in order to make money online you have to be unethical you will be very tempted to start activities that are unethical. However, it is not just your beliefs that affect what you do but also your values. If honesty is a true value then you will not want an unethical business and therefore you may decide that it is not possible for you to be able to have an online business.
Your belief and your values do not agree. This is a sad situation and one that many Internet marketers face. Often when you believe something your eyes are tuned to seeing things that reinforce that belief and if you believe that to be successful online you need to be unethical you will be far more likely to see examples of that, rather than other examples of honest online marketers.
Perhaps it is time to change your belief and begin to change it and to look for examples of honest online marketers. As you find evidence to back this up your belief will change and become aligned with your values.
When you truly believe that you can make money online in an honest way and you see evidence of it you will be able to act out that belief and be in a far better position of being successful yourself.
Think about your beliefs about internet marketing and see if they need changing and use your values to make sure you are happy with that belief.
