Why You Need To Know The Purpose Of Your Communication

In this article I am going to talk a little bit about the purpose of your communication. Every communication that you have with your subscriber, with your prospect or with anyone else to do with your business, needs to have a specific purpose behind it.

This is usually some kind of an action or message that you want people to take or to hear. The message that you are communicating in terms of your business brand and your values and beliefs and also your product solutions needs to be focused on the benefit there is to someone if they do business with you. Then you need to make it clear what actions they should take.

Here are some steps you might take:

Awareness
Make people aware of what your business stands for and what is unique about you. You might communicate this on your website, there is content online or in your email campaign.

Relationships
Once people are aware of what it is you offer and show some interest you need to begin to connect with them and to develop a relationship. If you are using our email campaigns and so is then it becomes very easy to do so. You can offer valuable content and provide help and advice throughout the campaign.

As people start to receive and read your emails they can begin to connect with you and build up a picture of whether you would be the right person for them to learn something from what to do business with.

Building trust is necessary if you are going to make any sales in the future.

Identifying Needs
part of your relationship building process will be to learn more about your customer and to learn more about the things that they need. This means being able to identify the areas that your subscribers or finding difficult and are searching for help on.

Offering Solutions
As you become aware and you identifying the various needs that your subscribers have you can then begin to present solutions. Every product that you create will be a solution to a specific problem. Since you have already developed the trust and built an awareness of what your business stands for when you come to offer a solution your subscribers will be more likely to take notice.

Call to action
The final step will be your call to action. It will be a sentence specifically telling someone what they need to do. This is of course based on what the purpose is behind that call to action. Whether it is to purchase a product, to download a free gift, want to click on a link.

Making People Aware Of Your Business

In this article I am going to discuss communicating awareness of your business and the solutions you provide. You need to make sure that people are fully aware of what your business and brand is and exactly what it is that you offer.

You will need to inform your target audience of the benefits and values that you represent as the product creator and solutions that you actually provide.

The first step towards someone taking any action is being aware and having a reason why they need to be taking that action!

With more and more competition online you need to make more effort to communicate the benefit of your business and make people aware of them so that they can make an informed choice to purchase from you rather than your competition.

Every piece of content that you write can convey some message about your business. Every action that you take will also convey a message.

When you are the business owner and also the product creator it becomes much easier to present a consistent message. No one knows your business better than you and of course no one knows your products better than you if you have created them yourself.

You should be in a position to be able to identify what it is that makes you and your products unique so that you can present that message to your prospects.

One of the easiest ways to send repeat messages is to develop an email campaign when you continually provide valuable content and you are available to provide help when needed.

However, you need to make people aware of your business first in order for them to become a subscriber.

The best way of communicating any message online is by using content. That could be written, it could be an audio or it could be video. These are the ways that you can make people aware of your business and begin to connect with your target market.

Find out where your target market are likely to be active online, for example, what types of websites will they be visiting? See if there is a way for you to add content so that you can communicate and make people aware of what you offer.

Your own website should also have content on so that people can find help by visiting your site. Over time your website will build authority as you create more and more content on it and a larger number of people will visit your site using a search engine.

Convincing People They Need Your Product

In this article I am going to discuss why you need to convince people that they need your product. Not everyone will realise that they even have a need in the first place!

Providing the solution to a specific need first relies on people understanding that they need the solution. Sometimes you need to convince people that they actually have a problem!

There are times when people don't actually realise that there is something stopping them from moving forward or achieving success. There might be a particular obstacle in the way and you've got the solution to it but you have to convince people and open their eyes to the fact that it affects them!

Here is an example:

Suppose you have been going to the gym for weeks and week and you've been doing the same routine again and again that you were told to do and nothing seems to be changing. You don't seem any further forward or making progress.

Then someone comes up to you and says - I know exactly what you need - you need to be doing a specific type of stretching movement. That will then enable you to move on and achieve a higher level of fitness.

Unless someone makes you aware that you need to be doing that particular stretch you would be stuck not realising that there was an easy solution.

It can be the same with your prospects. Therefore when you provide the solution, you need to communicate what the problem is and why someone might have that problem. You need to be able to make it clear so that people can identify with it and make the connection.

Then you can present your product as the solution to that need and you will then see that your conversion rates start increasing because you have opened people's eyes to the concept of why they are not progressing and what their need is.

Not all communication is straight forward. There are times when you have to really get inside your prospects mind to discover the best way to communicate what it is you have to offer and why they need it. The more you develop a relationship with your prospects the easier it will be for you to understand where they are coming from.

Understanding your potential customers is one of the best ways to see success in your online business.
