Being an author means that you have enough knowledge to be able to write down what you know. Not everyone can do that. Therefore you immediately send out a message of confidence and expertise.
If you have a book published, people who see or read your book associate you with the topics you write about. This enables you to become known as an authority figure in your particular business niche.
It enables you to compete on the same level as the other authors out there.
Your Visibility
If you publish your book online, on the Kindle platform for example, then you are able to get your work seen by people all over the world.
Amazon is one on the biggest online retailers and receives millions of visits each year. Being able to have your own book on that high traffic site is really beneficial in getting huge visibility to your book and your business.

Having a book published provides you with another income source. It provides you with another means of generating traffic and building an email list which in time provides you with revenue.
